The board of directors of Les Roches, a Swiss educational institution specializing in hotel administration and management, has appointed Mano (J. Emmanuel) Soler as the new director of the Les Roches Marbella campus. He takes over from Carlos Díez de la Lastra, who was recently appointed Global CEO of Les Roches.
Graduated from Les Roches Marbella in 2001 (Diploma in International Hotel Management), Mano Soler has nine years of experience in the hotel industry, where he held various management positions. He has a strong Hotel Operations background with a passion for people, customer service and guest experience.
In this educational institution, Mano Soler has held different positions: responsible for relations with the Alumni network (2008-2011), director of Student Services (2011-2012) and later, director of Operations and Student Services, a position he has held for 10 years, and from which he has overseen all school operations.
During this time, Mano has been an integral part of the success of Les Roches Marbella, that has positioned itself as one of the most important institutions in the world while increasing its enrolment up to 65% in the last 10 years.
Member of the Management Committee of Les Roches Marbella, Mano Soler (Philippines, 1980) assumes the management of the campus, with the aim of strengthening the leadership of Les Roches in Spain and strengthening the ties of collaboration with the industry.
He is fluent in Spanish, English, French, Italian and can speak Moroccan Arabic, Tagalog, Portuguese and some German.
