Ulrich started his career at NASAs Ames Research Center for Space Station developments as a designer for plant & animal habitats, before joining Airbus, covering various positions related to space exploration, incl. program management, innovation, strategy & business development.
Ulrich has more than 35 years of experience in Space Station design and operations, especially for space life science, crew habitation and life support. He is a permanent member of the International Academy of Astronautics and heading a new working group for Interplanetary Humanity at the German Society for Aerospace Medicine, focusing on health and wellbeing during space travel.
